Non-payment of fees:
If you don't pay the fees to register, your domain registrar might decide to suspend your domain. Your website won't be accessible online until you settle the outstanding fees and address the issue with the registrar.
How long is a domain suspended for? ›
From 31 to 60* days after expiry:
Then the registry will disable DNS resolution to your domain. From day 31 to day 60, you may still be able to restore your domain name, but there will be an additional fee to restore it. The restoration fee is set by the registry.

How do I unsuspend a domain? ›
To Suspend / Unsuspend a Domain Name
- To Suspend the Domain Name: Click the Lock / Suspend link. Select the Suspend radio button, enter the reason for Suspension and click the Update button. ...
- To Unsuspend the Domain Name: Click the Unsuspend Order button. select the No Restriction radio button and click the Update button.
To fix your suspended domain:
- Log in to your Rocketspark Dashboard.
- Click on the hamburger menu (three-lined icon) on the top left corner of the dashboard to open up the side menu. Click on Domain names.
- In Domain Names, go to the Contact Details tab. Here, you will be able to see and edit your domain contact details.
Check domain status at Whois (https://who.is/). The “Status” content shows if your domain is suspended by your Registrar. If Status shown is “clientHold”, “serverHold” or “onHold” (screenshot below refers), then your domain is suspended by Registry/Registrar.

It is not possible to modify the Name Servers or Contact Details of a domain name while it is suspended. If one tries to make a Transfer (away) Request for a suspended domain name to another Registrar, it will fail at the Registry level itself.
