A trip usually starts with a flight. The Flights team's mission is to offer a wide selection of flights, great value for money and the easiest end-to-end booking experience. We partner with our Strategic partner Etraveli Group to make our mission a reality and have ambitious joint goals over the next years. The Flights Strategic Partnership Operations team plays a key role in ensuring our collaboration is as efficient and effective as possible internally and with our Strategic Partner
The Strategic Partnership Operations Lead is responsible for taking the partnership with Etraveli to the next level as well as driving process improvements across key workstreams such as product development, ancillary launches and/or finance processes. The role is based in Stockholm and is working closely with our Strategic Partner, Etraveli Group.
The role will report directly to the Director of Strategic Partnership & Operations based in Stockholm and be part of our newly formed Strategic Partnership Operations team.
What You Will Do
Work alongside a Business Operations Manager and Director of Strategic Partnership and Operations on taking the partnership with Etraveli to the next level.
Identify improvement opportunities for communication processes between the Strategic Partner and Booking Flights team. Drive adoption of changes in communication practices in the Flights team
Lead the end to end execution of smaller workstreams from setting up, structuring and driving, flagging issues, risks and decision making
Define and drive the adoption of business processes and practices across such workstreams
Support the Director of Strategic and Operations in running wider workstreams such as the ancillary workstream or the finance processes improvement workstreams
Motivate change management within the Flights department to adopt new processes and ways of working
Lead internal communications and set up internal communications processes around the Strategic Partnership
You are proactive and able to identify process improvements opportunities
You have good commercial awareness and are able to understand basics of business drivers
You are a fast learner
You are comfortable working with teams and stakeholders based in different locations (Amsterdam, Stockholm, London and Athens)
You are able to work independently and as part of a team
You are able to summarize complex information in a simple manner
You have great written and verbal presentation skills
You are comfortable with change & a wide varied scope of tasks
You uphold strict confidentiality and discreteness, particularly in handling sensitive information
Role Qualifications and Requirements: Your Experience
Experience of project management (as a full time project manager or as part of another role)
Experience of process improvement and change management
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in influencing at management level (up to Director)
Data analysis experience is a plus
Strong communication skills
Experience working in internal/external communications is a plus
Experience working with external partners
Requirements:
The role requires some business travel to our headquarter in Amsterdam around once per quarter.
